seeking knowledge and laughter, putting a bullseye on inaccuracy

Now that is just funny

You remember the awesome Waasssssssssup??? commercials? That was possibly my favorite advertising campaign.

Well - how about an update of where those guys are now? Thanks daddYman for sending me the HuffPo post showing it.

Jason Jones in Wasilla

Woe for the Southern Suburbs

If you missed it - a woman at McCain's Lakeville rally is insanely stupid.

Fortunately, SNL didn't pick on MN when featuring this crazy lady (who apparently lives in Shakopee?). Stick with the SNL skit - it gets lame toward the middle but really finishes funny.

Toy Story: The Dark Knight

Say Hi to Your Mutha for me...

Apparently, this skit pissed Mark Wahlberg off ... but I loved it. And I love Mark Wahlberg's movies. Seriously. I'll probably watch Shooter tonight because it has been more than a month since I last saw it.

Funniest SNL Ever?

I totally lost it when "Biden" started talking about Scranton.

Biden Debate Prep

Wow. This is great. An annotated slideshow of Biden prepping for the debate.

Holy Animation Batman!

This is a stunning compilation. For some, it is totally inappropriate. For my family, it is pretty frickin' funny.

Fair warning: adult content ... sorta.

Where I Figure out Palin

Okay. We are past absurdity. Something is going on...

When asked what magazines and newspapers she reads to stay informed, Palin gave an absurd run around avoidance answer that suggests she does not read anything.

"I've read most of them, again with a great appreciation for the press, for the media," she said at first. Couric responded, "What, specifically?"

"Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me all these years."

"Can you name a few?"

"I have a vast variety of source where we get our news," Palin said. "Alaska isn't a foreign country, where it's kind of suggested, 'wow, how could you keep in touch with what the rest of Washington, D.C., may be thinking when you live up there in Alaska?' Believe me, Alaska is like a microcosm of America."

Keep in mind that Palin got a degree in journalism (notice, I did not say "earned" because the evidence suggests she did not). At this point, I started to get suspicious. And then I had my "AHA" moment.

Perhaps Palin was picked by someone looking to redeem the current President. Palin appears to be the least qualified person for the White House ever - having even less intellectual curiosity than Bush. So theoretically, if she became President, Bush might not go down in history as the worst President ever.

I'm not sure why McCain is trying to save Bush's legacy, but that is the only reason I can figure for why he is pushing Palin. Although - Palin was not his choice... he wanted Lieberman (ugh, glad that goonitard didn't get it) ... so his advisors must have pushed Palin. Maybe their loyalty is not clear?
